What you will need to do this project~
  • recycled cans with smooth sides
  • plastic tape measures in several different colors
  • cupcake liners in creme metallic silver and blue stripes (or any of your favorite color choices)
  • colored pencils
  • floral wire
  • styrofoam
  • mod podge
  • colorful paper plates
Directions~
  • Using mod podge or white glue, cover the outside of your can with lengths of plastic tape measure. You can choose to line the numbers up or just randomly place the pieces on the can. Set aside to dry and apply a second coat.
  • Make as many cupcake liner flowers as you would like to put in each bouquet.
  • Gather the stems of the flowers and wrap a wire around them to secure in a bouquet.
  • Insert pieces of styrofoam into the bottom of the can.
  •  Insert bouquet into the styrofoam, with stems cut to length so that you don't see any wires, or at least as few as possible.
  • Use the colored pencils to balance the bouquet by inserting them into the styrofoam.
  • You can make a beautiful base for the bouquet by glueing several plastic colorful plates together.
