Thank you featured mom Jennifer Dellavecchio.
Rub Ham down with brown sugar
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 can pineapple rings with juice

Smother Ham with brown sugar
Pour syrup and pineapple w juice on top.

Cook in slow cooker flat side down on low 5-6 hrs

1 2 lb. chuck roast
1 package Lipton Beefy Onion soup mix
1/2 to 1 package kluski noodles or egg noodles (depends on how many people are eating 1/2 package feeds our family of 4)
Water to cover
Salt and pepper to taste

Put roast in crock pot, add Beefy Onion soup mix on top (I like to mix up soup mix in a cup of water first then pour on top of roast). Add water to cover roast plus 2 inches. Cook 6-7 hours on Low or 4 on High. When roast is cooked shred it in crock pot. Add more water if needed and salt/pepper to taste. Add noodles. Stir to make sure all noodles get wet with water. Cover and cook on high for 1 more hour. Check and stir when needed so noodles don't stick. YUM!

Ingredients
baked potatoes, slightly cooled melted butter
kosher salt and black pepper
shredded cheese (cheddar, gruyere, fontina, pepper jack, or other of your choice)
eggs
additional fillings of your choice: sauteed vegetables, bacon or ham, etc.

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Slice a layer off the top of each potato. Use a spoon to gently scoop out insides, leaving a thin layer of potato against the skin and avoiding puncturing the bottom. Reserve scooped potato for another use.
Brush inside of each potato with melted butter and sprinkle with a little salt and pepper. Sprinkle a layer of shredded cheese into each potato and add fillings as desired (vegetables, diced meat, etc.) Fill each potato about 3/4 full. Crack one egg into each potato. Sprinkle with a little more salt and pepper. Top with additional cheese and toppings if desired.
Place potatoes on a baking sheet and cook for about 20 minutes. Egg whites should be set and yolks soft.
 For those of you, who just love onion rings the Blooming Onion recipe will be a delight. It’s more an appetizer than an actual dish, but it tastes great and can be consumed by vegetarians too. It is called the Blooming Onion because it looks just like a blooming flower. So to make it, you will need:
• 1 egg;
• 1 cup of milk;
• 1 cup of flour;
• 1 and a half teaspoons of salt;
• 1 and a half teaspoons of cayenne pepper;
• half teaspoon of black pepper;
• half teaspoon of garlic (powder);
• a quarter teaspoon of herbs;
• 2 big onions;
• canola oil;
Take one onion and start peeling them, then cut off the side without the root, closer to the half of the onion. After they are peeled, place them under water to clean them. Dry them using a paper towel, and start cutting the onion in 16 or 32 equal pieces (cut diagonally). Now to achieve the flower look, you will have to gently separate the onion pieces. You should place it in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours, this will help you in the process. Take out a bowl and combine the salt with the flour, the peppers and the herbs. Pour the flower on the onion and make sure to cover between the buds too. Combine the milk with the eggs and put the onion in the mixture and cover it again with the flour. Pour oil into the frying pan and place the onion inside. Make sure to add enough oil to cover the whole onion. Place the onion upside down in the pan and fry for 2-3 minutes, until it becomes golden brown. Now turn it on the other side and fry again for 2-3 minutes. Place it on a paper towel and remove the center of the onion, using a sharp knife. The dipping sauce will be placed here. You can add any kind of dip you like, just place it inside the onion and enjoy this cool appetizer.
Thank you Christy Arnold Wilson!

Hubby and I are enjoying a yummy Sushi  Night! We never get a date night so we make a nice date atmosphere in our home. We have been together for 10 years so we have to reinvent date in our home since we are parents and don't have the luxury of an on call babysitter. Our parents live about 2 hours away on both sides so when we travel home we get the luxry of your sets of grandparents eager to get time with their baby grand boy :) he just turned 6 but will always be there baby mine too (shhh don't tell hubby that lol) . Date night consists of our favorite movie and things to eat, and time to catch up with each other. Snuggle time is always fun too if I can stay awake!  We both Adore sushi  so we got a variety tonight. We enjoyed it with spicy sauce, soy sauce, and Wasabai.  It was delicious but my favorite part is spending one and one time with my husband. It's nice not to talk about who is going to cook tonight or who is going to do the dishes :) so my advice to other couples is schedule some time with ur love one it's very important and it's a great treat for your both!
