Beef stew

Beef stew
3-4 hrs in crock pot
3 lbs cubed beef stew meat
2 tablespoons butter

1 qt beef stock (set aside 1 cup to for flour mixture)
4 beef broth cubes dissolved in 1 cup water
2 tablespoons tomato paste
5 medium potatoes peeled and cut in chunks
1 can corn kernels drained
1 cup frozen peas
1 cup string beans
1 can pearl onions
1 cup carrots peeled & cut
1/2 cup Marsala cooking wine
5 tablespoons flour mixed in 1 cup room temp beef stock
Salt
Pepper
Pinch each of Dried parsley,oregano,basil paprika. Garlic powder

Brown meat in pan set aside in bowl ( leave drippings in the pan)

In the same pan with the drippings add water and beef broth cubes bring to a boil until broth cubes dissolve. pour broth in crock pot .
Add browned meat, veggies & and spices to the crock pot cook on medium for 3 hrs. Lid tightly covered

10 minutes before stew is done drizzle flour & water mixture while whisking into stew.
serve over mashed potatoes
